Using Our Passion To Empower Others
Girl Scouts
In the spring of 2022, we hosted a Girl Scout event on Cornell's campus with the goal of introducing local troops to the joys of engineering. Our aim was to help the scouts earn merit badges in coding, robotics, and computer safety while facilitating interactions with engineering students. This event not only taught valuable skills, but also allowed the scouts to explore their interests in engineering and other STEM fields. Through community outreach efforts like this, we hope to spark a love for engineering in younger generations.During the event, the Girl Scouts were able to learn Scratch, tour our lab, play software missions games, and gain an understanding of soldering.
